SIMPLE PRESENT
Simple present is used:
Koha e tashme perdoret:
1.) For permanent situations. Për gjendje te perhershme.
(She works in an office. –Ajo punon ne zyre.)
2.) For repeated situations with frequency adverbs – Per gjendje te perseritshme me ndajfolje shpeshtesie.
(He often buys her flowers. –Ai i blen asaj gjithnje lule.)
3.) For general truths – Per te verteta te pergjithshme.
(The sun sets in the west. – Dielli ulet ne perendim.)
4.) For programs or timetables – Per programe ose orare mjetesh transporti.
(The lesson stars at 10 o’clock. – Mesimi fillon ne oren 10.)

Shenim: Ndajfoljet (often ,etj) perdoren perpara foljeve kryesore por dhe pas foljeve ndihmese (be, have, can, will, must, shall)
